Bonneville County Idaho is located in Eastern Idaho on the Interstate 15 corridor with Highway 20 crossing it from east to west. It reaches as far East as Palisades reservoir and includes Idaho Falls, the county seat, Ammon, Iona, Osgood, Ucon and Swan Valley. The county has a population of somewhere around 110,000 with more that 50 percent of that population (60,000) in the county seat of Idaho Falls.
Housing in the county covers a very broad spectrum with homes for sale ranging from the low 50's to million dollar homes in some areas. Like many cities in Idaho, the snake river flows through the city's parks and recreation areas. Idaho Falls has a robust cultural community with theaters, a zoo, and the Museum of Idaho. People travel from the nearby counties of Jefferson, Madison, and Bingham to shop at the areas only Mall, and many of the big box stores such as Sam's Club, Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy and others. It is also where you will find many hotels and restaurants. Many people buy real estate in Bonneville county because they love East Idaho but prefer to live in a bigger city environment with a robust economy.
